Ooh, and a throw blanket. In fact, give me *all* the throw blankets.

I have been a BuzzFeed Shopping writer since 2017, with a focus on unique, practical products, up-to-date parenting finds, and up-and-coming home decor.

See's Candies is one of those rare places that is just as delectable in my adulthood as it was in my childhood. Their lollipops still absolutely slap (and their gift box is so cute I plan on buying it for myself...right now), their truffles always hit the spot, and their holiday collections genuinely make festivities more fun (and, most of all, photo-worthy). We celebrated a See's Easter with my toddler this year, and it was the most magical Easter of my own little life. So yeah, I'm biased. But I'm also right.

Promising review: "Best overall chocolate buying experience in my life (as always)." —Tuko

Get it from See's Candies for $42 (you can snag a smaller truffle box for $19.25 and should probably treat yourself to a tin of chocolate-covered coffee beans while you're at it).

Promising review: "Perfection! I got this robe as a Christmas present for my boyfriend, and I just know he’s going to love it. It’s so soft and cozy. I’m going to buy one for myself because of how jealous I am of it, haha!" —Hails

Get it from Brooklinen for $149 (available in sizes XS–XXL and several styles).

Promising review: "This is super cozy. I usually use a size medium and I got a size one. I do feel like it runs a little bigger, which just adds to the coziness. I feel like it’s not too light and not too heavy. It’s just perfect. I also like how it doesn’t look like a traditional robe. Five stars." —Stephanie

Get it from Amazon for $44.09 (available in two sizes and four styles).

These shoes stopped my seasonal depression before it even started. They're so soft that when I first tried them on, I audibly went "Whoa." There's something about being THIS level of comfortable that also makes me feel extra chic. These shoes have elevated my simple fall/winter wardrobe (jeans, turtleneck, sweatshirt) into something the one-percenters would wear on their way to their ski vacations in Switzerland. At least, that's how my feet feel about it.

Get them from Brunch for $165 (available in sizes 5–13.5 and four colors).

I *love* my Verloop slippers! I am of the belief that more is most certainly more, and that includes the colors in my attire. I love the look and feel of knit accessories and appreciate the durability this brand offers (something I'd never be able to achieve if I tried making my own). 10/10/10.

Promising review: "These slippers were recommended for people who want 'barefoot' (wide toe box) footwear. Well, I love them. They fit the way they are supposed to and are warm and very comfortable. Plus, they're cute." —Robin

Get them from Verloop for $48 (available in women's sizes 6–10 and two colorways).

Be sure to read up on how to get these on and off — they're different than standard earrings, which is why they are so comfortable, but there is a learning curve. I know — I own these!

I have tried for years to find a pair of earrings that my hypersensitive ears can handle. I've purchased earrings from every Instagram and TikTok ad that claimed to work for ears as easily irritated as mine. These nap earrings are the *only* brand/style that has actually kept my ears from becoming itchy and red. And that nap feature? It's spiffy. The no-poke closure is genius — all earrings should be this good. But they aren't. So get these.

Get them on sale from Maison Miru for $90 (available in different sets and styles).

Promising review: "This is a great mix of color and style. I got it with my daughter's initial on it. It’s high quality and fits great! It's a perfect colorful necklace." —DMarie

Get it from Anthropologie for $58 (available in 26 letters).

High Light Rituals is a Black-owned and woman-led small business that makes all of its products in the United States. I wear my own birthstone bracelet every single day. It's lightweight and ultra eye-catching for such a delicate piece. The whole shop is filled with chakra-balancing and energy-healing items, including crystals and ritual tools, tiny talismans, and my personal favorite, spell bracelets. I highly recommend this shop!

Promising review: "I love the bracelet! It is so cute and dainty. I love that they’ve threaded the beads on stainless steel over a string to increase durability. The quality is great. So far, I haven’t taken it off at all (showered and exercised with it) and haven’t encountered any breakage or discoloration. Also, the support team has been super responsive about my order, which definitely calmed my nerves as a first-time buyer from here." —Anonymous

Get it from High Light Rituals for $65 (available in 12 months and several styles).

This hip label is Chinese American- and family-owned and makes its gorgeous bags with vegan leather and recycled plastic!

BuzzFeed Shopping editor Kayla Boyd has this to say: "When I started seeing this new 'It bag' all over Instagram, I knew I had to have it. What shocked me was the fact that it's less than $100! The quality is amazing — the vegan leather is sturdy, it has a nice faux suede lining, and the magnetic closure actually stays closed. The adorable 'scrunchie' design is such a great way to jazz up an outfit. Plus, it's a great size for the necessities like my phone, wallet, keys, mask, and lip gloss. I definitely plan on buying more colors!"

Promising review: "I needed more 'date' bags as most of my bags are huge. I ordered this, and it's exquisite. Soft and not too small. Big enough for a small purse, my keys, lipstick, extra face mask, and iPhone. Highly recommend." —Techy

Get it from Amazon for $67.99+ (available in nine styles).

Every once in a while, I come across a beauty product that I know is a new staple from the moment I try it on. When I first put this on my lips, the little narrator inside my head said, "Oh, this is it." And narrator me was RIGHT! It goes on so smoothly, it feels like a spa treatment. No kidding. I prefer to only wear sunscreen and a bold lip — that's my whole makeup routine. Which means the lipstick matters. I hate having a balm underneath drying lipstick, but I like a bold color. This is an all-in-one product that doesn't dry out and can be applied several times without feeling bulky or looking chipped. It's a gift to our lips.

Promising review: "Best lipstick/balm I've ever owned. Beautiful colors. Feels natural on my lips. My new go-to everyday lipstick." —Lisa O.

Get it from Jouer Cosmetics (or subscribe and save) or Amazon for $29 (available in seven colors).

Here's what BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord has to say about it: "I bought this because I crave that Black Honey and will buy it until the day I die, but I am always paranoid of losing it, so I almost never let it leave my bag. I have tried probably five or six "almost" versions of Black Honey that came close, but this one genuinely spooked me. It has the same easy glide, same buildability, and the same refreshingly hydrating effect. It was a two-pack so I gave one to my BFF, another Black Honey fan, who also could not detect the difference!"

Promising review: "Better than Clinique! I bought this one on a whim but never liked the real Black Honey Almost Lipstick by Clinique, since it tends to run red on me. This shade, in my opinion, is exactly what Black Honey SHOULD be, as it looks more like Black Honey in pictures. For the price, it can’t be beat, so I’m buying more." —HAC

Get it from Amazon for $6.99 (also available in two other shades and in two-packs).

Promising review: "This is a holy grail lip balm. I was surprised by how deep the color was when I first tried this — it looks like lipstick! But you can apply this without a mirror. I swipe my bottom lip, then the middle of my top lip, and press my lips together, and my lips are comfortably smooth. The balm provides good moisture with a welcome, natural-looking pop of color on my lips. It's non-sticky, scent- and flavor-free, which I love. I have one on my nightstand and one in my handbag. It fits easily into a pocket. I've never before seen a lip balm that provided definitive but natural-looking lip color. A little color goes a long way, so I can see where these lip balms would last a while." —La Chat Cerise

Get it from Amazon for $14+ (available in 23 colors).

Promising review: "This is extremely beautiful. We bought three." —Romydb05

Get it from Anthropologie for $44.99 (available in six styles).

Promising review: "Adorable, and way more useful than you'd think. I've been using it for water; it fits in my purse or pant pocket perfectly, and it holds more than you think. I bought a second one for my daughter, and it was great at Disney the other day, not too heavy or cumbersome. It fit perfectly in the side outer pocket of her Loungefly mini backpack and kept her drink cold, and she just refilled it as needed." —erinm51

Get it from Amazon for $22.95 (available in 10 colors).

Larq is a small business that specializes in water purification products.

Promising review: "We fill large bottles up every day and keep them cold in the fridge. The quality is outstanding. We love them. We had very bad tasting water and this made it taste great. It doesn't smell and it is easy to hold. The smaller one is good for travel. These also saved a lot of money because we didn't have to buy bottled water." —Mary Ann

Get it from Amazon for $99 (available in five colors and two sizes).

Promising review: "It’s always a gamble getting pajamas online, especially when they’re supposed to be silky; sometimes you get that unyielding plastic-y feeling material. That’s not the case with these! They’re soft and flowy, and the ties in the front, while not Fort Knox, are still more secure than I thought they’d be. I’m definitely going to order in more colors." —Amazon Customer

Get them from Amazon for $24.99 (available in women's sizes XS–XXL and 27 colors and patterns).

Promising review: "No joke, these are pretty much exactly the same as my Skims lounge set for half the price. The pants graze the tops of my feet even when I wear them high-waisted at my belly button, so I think they’re plenty long. The robe is like wearing a blanket, but still looks put together. Anyway, I’m back here to buy a second color because I loved them so much!" —Jenna

Get the three-piece set from Amazon for $49.99 (available in sizes S–XL and in 28 colors).

I work from home, which means I *also* work from pajamas. This wasn't always the case. I used to love to get dressed for the day. And THEN I put these on... and refuse to take them off. I got them right as it started to get too warm in my house. I sleep hot and generally have a hard time falling asleep. After getting these, I started noticing myself totally disregarding my sweats-and-oversized-shirt system. It was when I pulled these out of the dirty laundry because I refused to sleep without them that I knew I'd REALLY found something special. They are as soft and cooling as you wish all pajamas were. These are the only pair I've had that live up to that hype. I can't recommend them enough.

Arid Blayne is a woman-owned small business that launched in 2025 with a mission "to help everyone sleep better."

Promising reviews: (for the pants) "These are the most comfortable pants I have found to sleep in! They keep my temperature even throughout the night and don't bunch up. I will be back for more colors!" —Claire

(for the crop top) "This tee is so comfortable! I haven't sweated in my sleep while wearing it yet! It also doesn't ride up, which I was afraid of." —Amanda

Get the pants for $125 (available in women's sizes XS–3XL and four colors) and the tee for $98 (available in women's sizes XS–3XL and four colors), both from Arid Blayne.

These are my favorite candles on Amazon! The jars are gorgeous, they have a clean burn, and the scent is natural — they fill a room without being overpowering. I sincerely think pairing these with some flowers or snacks is a winning gift for any person on any occasion.

Promising review: "Goldilocks would love this candle because everything is just right. Some candle scents are too strong or fake-smelling, and some are too weak — this candle is perfect. The subtle, yet alluring scent provides a nice background fragrance for any room and burns very clean. I'm sensitive to candles with fake chemical smells or wax that burns dirty, and these candles are my go-to because they never cause a problem. The glass jar gives a nice glow, and the candle has a long life. A little more money than most on here, but worth it for 'just right.'" —Sterling

Get it from Amazon for $30 (available in eight scents).

Lulu Candles is a US-based small business that specializes in scented candles and perfumes.

Promising review: "This is such a great candle that fills the room quickly with a really nice, strong smell that is soothing and relaxing. I was looking for a less expensive Le Labo Santal 33 scent candle, and this one is very, very close! It's a bit stronger, but I love it! The shipment arrived fast, and I just love how fast it fills up the room without being lit for so long!" —Cristina Bertolotto

I would DRINK THIS if I could, just so I could smell it again as it sweats out of my pores. I want it as a candle, a perfume, a hairspray, and a spouse. I mean it, if I could marry this scent, I would, because I want us to share a long and happy life together. I also use the shaving cream — both products leave my skin silky smooth and smelling sinfully delicious. I can't think of any more metaphors to mix at the moment, so I'm gonna stop. I'm too distracted by how badly I wanna go sniff this stuff.

Promising review: "Cremo's body wash is nothing short of exceptional. If you’re a fan of luxurious fragrances, this product will quickly become your new favorite. It boasts an incredible scent that perfectly mimics Baccarat Rouge 540 — a fragrance renowned for its sophisticated and captivating aroma. What sets this body wash apart is not just its stunning scent but also its longevity. The fragrance lingers beautifully throughout the day, ensuring you stay enveloped in that luxurious aroma long after your shower." —Ralph D. Thompson II

We use this cookbook constantly. In fact, I thought to feature it in this frame because I'll be making the rolls for a family dinner this weekend (nothing on this little earth tops these dinner rolls). The chocolate sourdough is *life-changing.* This book is nothing but hits! It's our family's go-to recommendation now — both for people specifically looking to make bread and as a weekly cookbook, we think everyone should have in their home.

Promising review: "Wow. This is an awesome, beautiful book. King Arthur really went above and beyond. Everything is explained in such detail, and the pictures are phenomenal. This book explains everything you need to know to become a wonderful bread maker. It's easy to read and includes pictured explanations for bakers of all levels. Honestly, this belongs in all homes — from a beginner bread maker to a professional! The book is huge and well worth the money. Highly recommend!" —Lindy

Promising review: "Over the years, I think a lot of people have become accustomed to getting their recipes online. There's nothing wrong with that, but I'm telling you, you're going to want this cookbook in your actual hands! The other day, I made her enchilada skillet recipe from the cookbook. One of the things I love most about her is her easy-breezy personality. If you don't have a certain ingredient, she's quick to suggest others from the cookbook and time-savers. With the enchilada skillet, I decided to use microwavable rice, and I didn't have an oven-proof pan, so I just did it on the stove top. It turned out wonderfully, and the leftovers were exceptionally good too! I can't tell you the last time I bought a cookbook, but this one is amazing: from the way she writes, the beautiful pictures, even how she indexes her recipes (I won't spoil it, but it's genius). Thank you for helping me find my cooking mojo again!" —Jessica Hornik

My husband is nicknamed "The Night Baker" by our friends and family because he has insomnia and loves sugar. More than sugar, he loves a precise, detailed set of rules. Baking was the perfect outlet for this guy, but he didn't fully come into his own until he "met" Claire Saffitz. He saw her baking with an actual ruler as a kitchen tool and knew she was the chef for him. She's a constant companion in our home now. We watch at least one of her YouTube videos each week, and he bakes from her cookbooks often. We also have What's For Dessert, which I'd recommend as highly as I do this one. Why? Because Christian says the recipes are enjoyable and clear, and *I* know they come out tasting amazing. Wins all around.

Promising review: "I saw a video by Claire Saffitz where she gave concise instructions for making a carrot cake. I wanted the recipe. It's in this book. The conciseness of her video is reflected in the details in the recipes in this book. There is a lot of instruction, but she doesn't overdo it at all. Regardless of your level of expertise, you're likely to become a better baker with this book.

As I paged through the book, I found many recipes that I want to try. There is a wide variety, recipes that I haven't necessarily seen in other cookbooks, but none so out of the ordinary that I'd question 'Why?' Bottom line, I'd recommend this cookbook for the carrot cake, the many other mouth-watering recipes, and the well-done instructions." —Mitch

Sometimes my bias really comes out when I feature products, and this is one of those moments. I've been using Snif's scents for *years* — it's how I always smell, and I think I smell GOOD. I keep these out on my bathroom counter because the packaging is chic and the names are clever conversation starters that make my house guests think I'm cooler than I really am. I've always had a hard time with personal scents because I prefer cologne, but want something that doesn't scream "I stole this from my husband." This scent is the perfect balance, even though, ironically, both my husband and I wear it. It works for everyone, and everyone should have it!

Promising review: "What an unexpected delight! I purchased this simply because it had a nature-sounding name that was punny. The warm and woody aroma wraps you like a blanket from Mother Nature herself. The hints of sweetness find their way through, but they do not distract from the focus of comfort. I feel anyone could enjoy a sniff of this!" —Heather A.

Get it from Snif for $39 (available in three sizes) — P.S., you can also get this as a candle.

Promising review: "I am OBSESSED with this! Incredible fragrance. Probably my new favorite. It’s commanding yet comforting, inviting, warm. There’s somehow a nostalgia to it for me. I couldn’t WAIT to try this, now Phlur has me hooked! Waiting on Mood Ring to arrive… 🥰" —Alex Grazal

Promising review: "So I am a ride or die for EOS Vanilla Cashmere. I can't tell you how many bottles of the lotion I've gone through just this year. I absolutely love [it]. When I heard about the perfume, I was SO excited. It's exactly like the lotion; it's perfect. It lasts quite a while. I spray it on me before I go to bed, and I can smell it when I wake up. Plus, you get a good amount for the cost, so it's worth it. This is another EOS item that will be on a subscription now, too. I am dying for shampoo and conditioner, so I hope that's in the works soon! Please EOS! I am a Vanilla Cashmere goddess! Hahaha! 💕" —Nikki

My love for Minky Couture is starting to get a little overwhelming. They are, without a doubt, worth the splurge. The image on the right is of my hairless cat, Chuck, absolutely loving his life inside the Hugs blanket. The version on the left is their Extreme Ultra Cloud. And I swear, when they say "cloud," they mean it. I've never felt anything softer. They. Are. Magic. I already own two. And will I be buying more? Yeah... I have another one in my cart as we speak.

Get it from Minky Couture for $129+ (available in five sizes and seven colors).

I have Geometry products all over my home, and I really value the brand. Once I saw that they had a larger, heavier blanket similar to their famous butter blanket... I knew I wanted it in my life. And this blanket *delivers* folks. I don't know how they were able to keep this as soft, light, and stretchy as the butter blanket while adding the extra weight (it's still super lightweight, but more suitable as lightweight bedding than smaller versions), but they made it happen, and I'm glad they did!

Get it from Geometry for $139 — check out the entire Luxe collection here.

These are lightly weighted. The small weighs 3 pounds, the medium is 8 pounds, and the large is 10 pounds.

Promising review: "We bought our first Lola blanket and the whole family fought over it. We ended up buying each of the kids their own, and they take them everywhere they go. They even say they can’t sleep without them. We love them so much, we bought TWO more during their sale, and I planned to gift one. It has already been claimed, so I’ll have to get another. They are so, so soft and hold up amazingly well. We’ve even washed them. The weighted blankets are also the perfect weight! I can’t say enough about these!" —erin a

Get it from Lola Blankets for $135+ (available in four sizes and 11 colors).

Hey Christian, remember when I tried to get you to read this back in 2007 and you WOULDN'T? You can fix that! Buy this for me (you) now.

Promising review: "The special edition is so pretty! I’m a huge Twilight fan, so when I saw those magic reveal edges, I knew I had to have this. It’s honestly even better in person. Is it very Twilight aesthetic? Not really, but it’s so pretty I don’t even care. 🫣 I love the girly flower pop feel." —Jessica
